MAY IS PRESERVATION MONTH!

Preservation Month was established in 1973 by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and is co-sponsored by local preservation groups, State historical societies, business and civic organizations across the country. During the month of May events across the country promote historic places for the purpose of instilling national and community pride, promoting heritage tourism, and showing the social and economic benefits of historic preservation. Join in the celebrations and awareness! Visit and learn about a historic places near you. Tag historic places on social media with #ThisPlaceMatters and #saveATL to show some love for those special Atlanta-area places.
